If you die without a valid will your estate’s property will be distributed according to State Government legislation – specifically the Administration Act, section 14. This may have unintended consequences and result in your loved ones not receiving the inheritance you wanted them to.
Also, avoid the temptation of making your own Will on a newsagency pro forma. This is fraught with danger and may result in you making an invalid Will which means you die intestate.
We recommend that you consult a solicitor experienced in Wills & Estates law to prepare your Will for you to ensure that your loved ones are properly taken care of after you have gone.
We will be happy to assist you with this.
